Dear Val and family
I know your heart must be broken, your mom was one of a kind. I remember when she would come to visit and we would play board games. We girls would cheat just a little against the guys and just have a blast with her and your dad. You are so lucky to have had her as a mom. When we visited her in Fl. she made us all feel like part of the family. I know she is smiling down from heaven. I pray your heart-ache will soon heal.
With deepest sympathy

What a woman! Loved people. Loved parties and all the special little details that made it memorable. Her generous spirit and warm hospitality was felt by all who crossed her threshold. She was mischievous and gay. Oooh, her Christmas trees were for the cover of Better Homes and Gardens. When she was in the room, the lights were on. We'll carry that with us always! But baby, oh baby, don't think you were doing her laundry...she had a wicked index finger that let you know!
