Mr. Ralph Haywood, 68, of Aiken, died Friday October 10, 2008 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers ER. Born in Northampton MA, he was a son of the late Ralph Frederick Haywood and the late Jessie Rettie Haywood. He graduated Chicopee Falls High School, Chicopee Falls MA; and served his country in the United States Navy. Ralph graduated from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, 1963, with a BS in Accounting. He married Martha Jane Moeller December 12, 1960 and they have made their home in Aiken since 1963. He was employed with the Savannah River Site as a Systems Analyst for many years. Mr. Haywood is survived by his loving wife, Martha Jane Haywood, Aiken, one daughter; Kathryn Haywood, Hillsborough NC, and one son; Mark Haywood, Dunstable MA, one sister; Linda Larry Greene, Chicopee Falls MA, one brother; David Debbie Haywood, Northampton MA. one aunt; Mary Rettie, Springfield MI.
