Mrs. Jacqueline Robinson Henderson, age 82, died Thursday September 15, 2011 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Southlawn Cemetery, Veterans Section, conducted by Dr. Fred Andrea, Pastor of Aiken's First Baptist Church. GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken is assisting the Henderson family. She was a daughter of the late Jay P. Robinson and Ella Fair Elmore Robinson. She was native of Birmingham, Alabama where she attended Phillips High School and was elected senior class artist. She was a member of Aiken's First Baptist Church. Mrs. Henderson served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Henderson House Publishing Company where as Director of the Graphic Arts Department she developed and marketed the J Line of greeting cards and stationery. In 1970, she moved from Alabama to Aiken and was instrumental in establishing the Ron Henderson Insurance Agency, Inc. and also served as Vice President and Corporate Secretary. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sons, Wallace Ronald Henderson, Jr. and Stephen John Henderson. Mrs. Henderson is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ron Henderson and one son, Rodger Andrew Henderson Gail, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and her "baby" a little Jack Russell Terrier named Tippy.
