I got to know Jesse while he was employed at the Aiken Standard. He was one of the most upstanding and sincerely kind men I have ever known. He got to be a good friend during those years and once he retired from there and went to Fatz to work, I would visit with him when my family and I went there to dine. Jesse was one of a kind and he will be missed. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.

We both thought alot of Mr. Jesse and we were able to talk with him this past Friday at Fatz. We told him he needed to slow down and he said he had cut his hours. Both of us were worried about him that day because he didn't look well, however, he was doing what he enjoyed and that is being with his "Fatz" family and customers who were like family to him.
He will be missed.
Remember the good times.
