Funeral services for Mr. Roy Henry Pace will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 11am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW with Dr. Rev. Eddie Leopard officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Millbrook Baptist Church, Children?s Ministry, 176 East Pine Log Road, Aiken, SC 29803, or Christ Central of Aiken, 3605 Richland Ave., West, Aiken, SC 29801. Mr. Pace, 63, of Aiken, died, April 3, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Pace was born in Middlesboro, KY to the late Arvle Henry Pace and Katie Crigger Pace Moss. Mr. Pace lived in Middlesboro before moving to Aiken in 1964 where he lived most of his life. Mr. Pace was a member of the NRA and attended Millbrook Baptist Church. He was also member of Old Yellow Creek Baptist Church, Middlesboro, KY. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Pace was predeceased by a sister, Betty Lou Pace. Mr. Pace is survived by his wife, Betty Wyrick Pace; daughters, Debbie Doug Pace Sides, Mary Jim Pace Davidson, both of Aiken; sister, Dorothy Mae Rice, Frankfort, KY; brothers, Raymond C. Pace, Graniteville, and Ross E. Pace, Aiken; grandchildren, Bill, Brooke, and Brandon Sides, AJ and Danielle Davidson.
