Memorial services for Mr. Werner Goth will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 12pm at South Aiken Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dr. John Frye officiating. The family will receive friends at the Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation after the service from 2pm until 4pm. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken is assisting the family. Mr. Goth, 72, of Aiken, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at his residence.
Born to the late Johann and Babette Heubach Goth, he was born in Erlangen, Germany. Mr. Goth lived in North Port, FL, Punta Gorda, FL, and Lake Villa, IL before moving to Aiken in 2006. He was a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church and the Woodside Plantation Reserve. He was also an avid collector of trains. Mr. Goth was the retired owner of Rego Mold which manufactured tools and dyes. Werner was a great dad and grandfather.
Mr. Goth is survived by his wife of fifty years, Inge Trautner Goth, son, John Terry Goth, Lake Villa, FL, daughters, Karen Greg Walker, Phoenix, AZ, Christine Stephen Colella, Chicago, IL, sister, Leni Koepsel, Erlangen, Germany, grandchildren, Kaitlyn Goth, Sarah Goth, and Elly Goth.
