A Funeral Mass for Mr. Michael A. Sieczkowski will be celebrated on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11:30am at St. Mary Help Of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary Help of Christians Church Building Fund, PO Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802. Mr. Sieczkowski, 51, of Aiken, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, GA. A son of Jacqueline Janus Sieczkowski and the late Mieczyslaw "Mike" Sieczkowski, he was born in and lived in Aiken most of his life. Before retiring for health reasons in 2004, Mike had worked for Pepperidge Farms for over twenty years. A communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Mike was a member of Knights of Columbus, Msgr. George Lewis Smith Council #3684 and Assembly #1074. During the 1980s and early 1990s, Mike was a volunteer firefighter with the Aiken Department of Public Safety. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a sister, Kathleen Sieczkowski Bijas. He is survived by his mother; Jacqueline Janus Sieczkowski, Aiken, a sister; Ann Marie Young Chris, Aiken, a niece; Emily Young, Aiken and a nephew; Brian Young, Aiken.
