Obituary of Stanley Sylvester Czarnecki

Czarnecki, Stanley S. 94, Died on Wednesday November 21, 2007. He was born in Jersey City and had lived in Lyndhurst since 1953, spending the past few years with his daughter in Aiken, South Carolina. Mr. Czarnecki served in the United States Army as a Captain during WWII where he saw combat in Italy and North Africa and received the American Defense Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, the EAME Theater Ribbon with four Bronze Service Stars, and the WWII Victory Medal. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for the American Can Company of Jersey City for forty years retiring in 1970. He was an avid golfer participating in the sport until age 88. He is predeceased by his Beloved wife, Blanche nee Bobrik brother, John, and sister, Mary Pylka as well as parents, CatherineTysz and Michael Czarnecki. Survived by his loving daughter Louise Motyka and her husband Ted of South Carolina, dear grandchildren, Matthew and Michelle Motyka. Also survived by a niece, several nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral from the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc. 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday November 30, 2007 at 9:30AM then to St. Michael?s Church, Lyndhurst where at 10:30AM a Funeral Mass will be offered. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
