A memorial service for Mrs. Dorothy Goodheer Ergle will be held Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 3:00 PM at George Funeral Home, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC with Dr. Wil C. Goodheer and Elder Ben LaMunyon officiating. Interment will be in Somerset Hills Cemetery, Bernardsville, NJ. Mrs. Ergle, 94, of Aiken, SC, died Wednesday, afternoon, February 1, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC. Born in Martinsville, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Phillip and Anna Alberts Wilde. Mrs. Ergle was a graduate of Drake College of Business and was a charter member of Whippany Road Church of Christ, Whippany, NJ. She became a member of Aiken Church of Christ, Aiken, SC, when she came to Aiken in 1963 from Basking Ridge, NJ. She retired from the Aiken County School System where she was a Teacher. She is survived by a son, Dr. Wil C. Goodheer, Lee Albright Vienna, Austria; daughter, Marjorie M. Dahle, Frank T. Alton, NH; step-daughter, Larue McGee, step-sons, Clyde, Patsy Ramon, Joyce and Steve Ergle, Jane all of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Tom Goodheer, Blaine, PA, Jesse Goodheer, Abilene, TX, Janet Goodheer Lamb, Sparta, NC, Jennifer Dahle Gemberling, Mendham, NJ and Tracy Dahle Carrier, Bedford, NH; twenty-two step-grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Mrs. Ergle was preceded in death her first husband, Frederick Charles Goodheer in 1979 and by her second husband, John B. Ergle, in 1984.
