A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Josephine Gleason Weber will be celebrated on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 2pm at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8pm, with a vigil service held at 6:30pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW. Memorial donations may be directed to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Mary Help of Christians Church, PO Box438, Aiken, SC 29802. Mrs. Weber, 86, of Columbus, OH, died Tuesday August 10, 2010 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. A daughter of the late James A. Gleason and Stella Griffin Gleason, she was born in Knoxville, TN and had lived in Aiken before moving to Columbus in 2004. She had been a teacher at Millbrook Elementary School and a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and a member of the choir. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Weber who died in 1998, a brother; Michael Gleason, a sister, Angela Rose Raymondo, a grand-daughter, Cara Willardson and a great grandson, Gavin Tyler Talampas. She is survived by three daughters; Patricia Marie Willardson, Denver, CO, Susan Estelle Weber, Columbus, OH and Mary Ann Hyatt, Eugene, OR, two sons; John Edward Weber, Panama City, FL and Michael Joseph Weber, Madison, WI, and a sister, Elizabeth Paris, Cincinnati, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
