I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the family. Having lost both parents, I know what you're going through. Ed, I enjoy the whispers we exchange before church and hope to continue that moment. Children, continue honoring your mother my being attentive to your father's needs. I'm sorry I could not attend in person, but my foot situation keeps me from doing much except church on Saturday. You're in my prayers.

Carol and Eric, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Growing up in North Hills, I will always remember Mr. Locke tinkering on cars in the carport everytime I came to visit. He was always to cheery and friendly to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I saw Mr. Locke's DD 214 before it was sent to Ft Jackson National Cemetery. I was humble and quiet as I read it. "Action against the enemy at Iwo Jima." Where has our country gotten such men? I am grateful and thankful he lived a long life after his service to our nation and our flag. May God bless his dear wife.
