Mrs. Lola C. Pridgen, 76, wife of John Pridgen, died Sunday, January 18, 2004 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 2PM Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Langley Cemetery with Rev. Ron Hasty officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 6-8 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel.
Mrs. Pridgen was the daughter of the late Julius and Minnie Smith Coulter. She is also predeceased by her sons; Ronald L. Pridgen and Jimmy Pridgen. She was born in Lagrange, GA, and had lived in Clearwater for the past 57 years. She was a charter member of Woodridge Baptist Church, Clearwater, SC.
Survivors include her husband, son, Phillip Beth Pridgen, North Augusta, SC, brothers, Donald Coulter, Roy Coulter, sisters; Mary Ann Johnson, Cottageville, SC, Emily Jean Shockley, Gloria Gail Johnson, grandchildren, Andy, Angie, Kim, Dede, Keela, great grandchildren, Jenna, Alysa, Kerah, Serena, Shara, Kenneth Jr., special nephew, Morris Pridgen, and close friends, David and Fay Nelson.
