A memorial service for Mrs. Omagene Peg Sampson will be held Sunday, July 13, 2003 at 2 PM at Grace Brethren Church, Aiken, SC, with Reverend Dr. Steve R. Taylor officiating. Mrs. Sampson, 86, of Aiken, SC, widow of Thomas J. Stafford and Frank Sampson, died Sunday, morning, July 6, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Born in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late John Harold and Lexie Belle Goodwin Post, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC, since 1952, where she was a member of Grace Brethren Church. She retired from the Aiken County Hospital as a P.B.X. Operator. A son, Thomas J. Stafford, II, and his wife Connie, Columbia, SC; daughter, Jan Walling and her husband, Sam, Aiken, SC; and grandchildren, Kristina Walling, Geoffrey Stafford and Lauren Stafford, survive. At the request of the family, please make memorials in memory of Mrs. Sampson to Grace Brethren Church, 144 Talatha Church Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 or the American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Rd., Aiken, SC.
