Donald L. Rothwell, 76, of Aiken, beloved husband of Laura Sue Rothwell, passed away June 8, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A visitation with the family will be held from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, followed immediately by a funeral service in the chapel. Interment will be at Southlawn Cemetery following the funeral Service. Mr. Rothwell was born in Viroqua, WI and was a dedicated husband, a strong father and a good friend to those who had the pleasure to know him. He was employed for 35 years by Kimberly Clark Corporation until his retirement. He was a long time resident of Aiken and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Laura Rothwell; two daughters Kathleen Hines and Kim Rothwell; four sons Donald Rothwell, Timothy Rothwell, John Randal Rothwell and Steven Rothwell; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
