Funeral services for David Widener, 52, of Aiken will be on Saturday at 11am at Windsor First Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Barwick, Barry Barwick, Jacob Allen Widener, William Casey Widener, Joey Widener & Mason McCall.
Mr. Widener, 52, of Aiken, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Charlotte, NC. He was a life-long resident of Aiken County and was a construction worker. One of his favorite pastimes was to visit the Aiken Waffle Houses and Huddle House where he would drink coffee and talk to friends and anyone that came by.
He is survived by his mother, Ann Bodie Marsh, Swainsboro, GA; a daughter, April Nicole; and two brothers, Joseph Rhonda Widener, Erwin, TN and Jacob Sherrill Widener, Aiken.
