Funeral services for Mr. James Warren Campbell will be held Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken with Pastor Bobby Leopard officiating. Interment will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery, Williston. Visitation will be tonight at the funeral home from 6-8pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association, 1003 Hammond Road, Aiken, SC, 29803. Mr. Campbell, 63, of Williston, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A son of the late Thomas Vincent and Helen Louise Rumsey Campbell, he was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Williston since 1988. Mr. Campbell served in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam Conflict. An electrician by trade, he was a member of the IBEW, Local 728. He was a member of the Aiken Masonic Lodge and will probably be best remembered as a loving father and husband. In addition to his parents Mr. Campbell was predeceased by a sister; Alice Wright. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Jones Campbell; Williston, four daughters; Vicki Rogers and Karen Richardson, both of Williston, Sandy Browder, North Augusta and Sharon Smith, Kingstree, SC; two sisters; Kathy Buckle and Ruthy Wingate; a brother, Thomas Campbell, nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
