A memorial service for Frank M. Washington will be on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 502 Croft Mill Rd, Aiken with Mr. William Peterson officiating. Interment will be private. In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be made to Advantage Hospice & Home Care, 156 University Pkwy, Aiken SC, 29801. George Funeral Home and Cremation Center 211 Park Avenue SW, Aiken is assisting the family. Mr. Washington, 64, of Aiken, died late Friday evening April 10, 2009 at his residence. The son of the late Fred and Mattie Lou Medlock Washington, he was born in Edgefield and moved to Aiken at a young age, spending the rest of his life there. He worked as a Technician at textile mills in the area. Frank is survived by three daughters; Mattie Anthony Rowland, Columbia, Toni William Gaffney, Aiken and Bonnie Arthur LaFavor, Aiken, a son; Frank M. Washington, Jr, Aiken, two sisters; Alma Howard, Indiana and Margaret Jackson, N. Augusta, one brother; Fred Washington, Aiken, and seven grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his former wife of thirty eight years; Jean Washington, Aiken and several aunts.
