Funeral services for William B. Willis will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at 2:00pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Mr. Willis, 84, of Harlem, GA, died Monday at the VA Medical Center, Augusta. He was born in Richmond County and had lived in the area his entire life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired machinist. Mr. Willis was predeceased by his wife, Minnie R. Hudson Willis. He is survived by a son; John Thomas Willis, Appling, GA and a daughter; Ginny Lou Kirby, Edgefield, SC. He is also survived by a granddaughter; Margaret Kirby.
