Obituary of Amelia Cotis Howard

LEESVILLE, SC—Amelia Cotis Howard, age 74, entered into rest Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Mrs. Howard was born July 16, 1944 in Charleston, SC to the late George and Christine Cotis. She had been a resident of the area since 1988. Mrs. Howard worked as a nurse’s aide and as a real estate agent. Her passions were her family, fishing, and playing cards. She will be remembered as an amazing wife, mother, the best grandmother ever and an awesome cook!

Survivors include her beloved husband of 54 years, Billy R. Howard; two daughters, Melissa Howard, Clayton, NC and Pamela Myers (Scott), Jupiter, FL;  a son, Michael Shane Howard, Mt. Olive, NC; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the George Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
