Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Lynette Hegler Vickery will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at 4 PM at Town Creek Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Lynette?s brother, Rev. Gareth Hegler, Revs. David Laird, Donald Pope, and Greg Williams, officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Peters, Ronnie Holtzclaw, Tanner Greaves, David Nathan Vickery, Andrew Lee Siders, Jeremy Kelley, Brandon Rice, and Jonathan Vickery. Members of the Aiken High School Class of 1966, as well as members of the Alan Hay Sunday School Class will serve Honorary Pallbearers. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Monday, March 3, 2003 from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Vickery, 55, of Aiken, SC, wife of Mr. Jeffery Vickery, died Saturday, afternoon, March 1, 2003 at the residence. Born in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of Ray and Iva Mae Baker Hegler, Aiken, SC, she had lived in Aiken, SC, since 1953, where she was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. A 1966 graduate of Aiken High School, she was active in coordinating reunions. She was formerly the Office Manager for S.E. Peters Inc. In addition to her husband and parents, daughters, Saralyn Paige Vickery, Aiken, SC and April Vickery Storey, and her husband, Clayton, Batesburg, SC; brothers, Gareth and Barry Hegler, sister, Beverly Hegler Pilz, all of Aiken, SC; and grandsons, Aaron Ray Storey and Andrew Eric Storey, Batesburg, SC, survive.
