Aiken---Mr. John C. Brown, 66, husband of Mrs. Mary Seigler Brown, died Friday, May 31, 2002 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Funeral services will be held 3pm, Sunday, June 2, 2002 at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, with the Revs. Charles Wilson and Olin Sizemore officiating. Burial will be private. He has been living in Aiken for 41 years, was the son of the late Austin and Minnie Brown, was a member and deacon of Clearwater Branch Baptist Church and retired from Kimberly Clark after 25 years of service. Survivors include his wife, son, Terry D. Brown, Aiken; daughters, Julie Overstreet, Columbia and Jennifer D. Brown, Aiken and one sister, Delorese Turner, Warner Robins, GA. The family wishes that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Drawer K. Aiken, SC 29802or the American Heart Association 1003 Hammond Rd., Aiken, SC 29803. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the Funeral Home.
