Aiken, SC-Funeral services for Mrs. Julia May Snyder Jarnagin will be held Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 3:30 PM at George Funeral Homes, Inc., Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Vaucluse Cemetery, Vaucluse, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 6, 2002 from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Jarnagin, 84, of Indianapolis, IN, died Monday, morning, June 3, 2002. Born in Macon, GA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Prosser and was the widow of Fred Jarnagin, who died Monday, March 25, 2002. She had lived in Aiken, SC, and had lived in Indiana for many years where she was a retired salad preparer having retired from Dodd?s Town House after eighteen years of service in 1980. Surviving Mrs. Jarnagin are a daughter, Sharon A. Jackson, sons, James E. Richardson, Ladson ?Runkie? Richardson, and Larry E. Snyder, stepsons, Gene Paul DeCamp, Steven R. Jarnagin, and Terrence L. Jarnagin, stepdaughters, Rebecca Sue Ewing and Patricia Jarnagin Waldun, brother, Charles Prosser, sisters, Dorothy Littlefield and Jean Wilson, eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
