Dear Mom,
There are no words to let you know how empty my life feels without you. I am so sorry I never told you how much I loved you more than I did. It seems like I only started saying that when you got sick, and I feel horrible about that. But I think you know I loved you. I would give anything to be able to pick up the phone and hear your cheerful voice. I miss you, I love you, and one day I will be with you again. Until then, you are my angel.
With sadness but knowing you are walking again, I give you up to God.
Love you forever . . .
Laurie

Linda was someone that I could tell ANYTHING to and she would not be judgmental. She was honest with her advice and I appreciated it throughout our friendship. I know there are no words to ease the pain, but please know that she was a special person in my life and I will never forget her. She had a great sense of humor and could get a laugh out of anyone. I am deeply sorry for the family and her faithful friend Floyd.

Linda and I are half sisters. Though we've only been together once since 1959 when my family moved to California, I think we were both proud and happy with the fact that we were able to keep in touch all of these years. I know she is in a good place now, with her mother and mine, but I'll miss our friendship. May God bless her with his love and light.
