Obituary of Rex B. Llewellyn

AIKEN, SC - Mr. Rex Beryl Llewellyn, age 75, entered into rest Thursday, March 23, 2017 at University Hospital.
Mr. Llewellyn was born in Denmark, SC to the late Wesley and Ruth Still Llewellyn. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Llewellyn retired as a Mechanical Engineer and was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He also volunteered his time to many other functions at the church and was also a watch dog at Aiken Elementary School.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Llewellyn of Aiken; daughters, Michelle Lewis (David) of Aurora, Colorado and Missy Meesseman (Tim) of Aiken; a son, Lawrence Williams of Aiken; sisters, Rivanna Crew (Wayne) of Austin, Texas and Dianna Hamor (Tommy) of Sugarland, Texas; a brother, Max Llewellyn (Sandy) of Aiken; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Millbrook Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Pope officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Millbrook Missions Fund, 223 S. Aiken Blvd., SE, Aiken, SC, 29803 or the Backpack Program at Aiken Elementary, 2050 Pine Log Rd., Aiken, SC, 29803.
