Funeral services for Miss Texas Cleo Langford will be held Monday, August 13, 2007 at 2pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken, SC, with Rev. Mike Chandler officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Interment will take place on Tuesday at 11am at Ray City Baptist Church Cemetery, Ray City, GA. Memorial contributions may be directed to Millbrook Baptist Church Building Fund, 176 E Pine Log Rd, Aiken, SC 29803. Miss Langford, 85, of New Ellenton, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A daughter of the late J.R. Langford, Sr. and Nancy Futch Langford, she was born in Lanier County, GA. She has lived in the Aiken and Augusta area since 1960. She was a 1940 graduate of Nashville High School, Nashville, GA. She worked in a nuclear facility in Oak Ridge, TN, in a ship yard as a welder in Brunswick, GA, an operator with Bell Telephone in Atlanta, GA. She was a member of Ray City Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Thomas W. Langford, sister, Marjorie Langford. She is survived by her brother, J. R. Celia Langford, Jr., New Ellenton, sister, Gladys Langford, Aiken, nephews, Jimmy Langford, Jeffrey Lisa Langford, and four nieces.
