A memorial service for Delores Craig Shindledecker will be held this Friday, January 30th at 4pm at Cumberland Village with Rev. Cathy Cole officiating. Aiken, SC 29801 or Hitchcock Hospice 690 Medical Park Dr. Aiken, SC 29801. Mrs. Shindledecker, 72, of Aiken, died Thursday January 22, 2004 at Cumberland Village, under the care of Hitchcock Hospice. A daughter of the late Frederick and Vilma Chilcote Craig, she was born in Bloomsburg, PA and had lived in Berkeley Heights, NJ before moving to Aiken in 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of Hounds Lake Country Club. Her husband, Curtis Wilbur Shindledecker, died in 1999. She is survived by a son; Curtis Shindledecker, Lexington, SC, a daughter; Cynthia Shindledecker, Ann Arbor, MI, two sisters; Alda Covert, State College, PA and Hattie Reese, St. College, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren. Time for memorial service will be posted as soon as it is confirmed.
