My sincere condolences to Ken and family...though I didn't have the pleasure of knowing June well, she was--for a short time--part of our NBC women's Bible study at 1st Pres. She was a vibrant, positive person with a living faith. I particularly remember her saying that "Purpose-Driven Life" by Rick Warren was a "game changer" for her. This was evident to me in the spiritual insights she shared. I am blessed to have known June...what a lovely woman!

Ken,
As Jean's sister, I have been following June's trials and praying now for your beautiful memories to comfort and sustain you. Jean mentioned how devoted you were to June. I offer a favorite quote from Tuesdays With Morrie:
"Death ends a life...not a relationship".

Dear Ken,
Who knew when we met 30 years ago at the Mexico City American Society's round robin bridge tournament as opponents that many fun bridge games and squash games and adventures would follow? I will never forget our 'bird lamp' story. I love the picture of her holding Carolyn when you visited us in Sao Paolo-- now Carolyn will be getting married this summer and I know June will be observing from another vantage point although we will miss her encouraging presence.June is now completely healed, enjoying the the fulness of the presence of our Saviour--which will make it that much sweeter when we join her there at the end of our journeys. She had such a kind heart that I am sure the Lord greeted her with, "Well, done, good and faithful servant," because those words exactly describe June.
We love you and are praying for you and Evan, and all your family, Deborah and Ben
