Mr. Thomas Lynn Hawley, 69, of Aiken, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 at his residence. In accordance with Tom's wishes, no services will be held. Family, friends and neighbors will gather at a later date to honor Tom's life. Anyone desiring to do so may make a memorial contribution to the charity of their choice. Arrangements are under the care of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, Aiken. Born in Adrian, Michigan, he was a son of the late Robert & Norma Driscoll Hawley. Tom was a US Army Veteran and owned a carpet store in Phoenix, AZ. After retiring in 2003, Tom moved to Aiken, where he was active in playing tennis and then golf. Tom was a very caring person and always loyal to his family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra Gibson Hawley of Aiken; a son, Lance Hawley (Cindy) of Phoenix and a grandson, Jack Hawley all of Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Garry Hawley (Irene) of Aiken; a sister, Lynette Frank (John) of Plano, TX; nieces and nephews, Scott & Heidi Hawley and Jessica & Michael Frank; step daughters, Alaine Hamel (Bill) of Attleboro, MA., Carol Horan (Jack) of Windson, CT and Nancy Bradley (Phil) of Naples, FL; step-grandchildren, Bridget Horan, Andrew Horan, Richard Savage, Randy Savage and Crystal Bradley.
