I just saw this today September 2 and I am so sad that a wonderful man has left this earth. He was like an uncle to me, and my daddy's best friend. I can just see them both laughing it up, there in Heaven on the 18th hole. The Hegler family meant so much to me and to my family. I love you!
This is late, but maybe God knew you needed it more today. God Bless.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We are glad we had the good fortune to have met Mr. Hegler. He always made a point of dropping by to see us when we were in town visiting Brandon and Rhonda and kids. We are praying for the family and we know heaven is a better place today because of his presence there.
Love,
Larry & Sally Rice

I just wanted to say how much I've admired Mr. Hegler. Watching Mr. & Mrs. Hegler go through the deaths of Lynette, and then Barry, and the way they relied on God to take care of them was an inspiration. Mr. Hegler was a wonderful man. On a lighter note, he was also great at making up stories right "off the top of his head". He was good at making people laugh. He could also bring tears with his testimony. Those of us that know him, will miss him; but I know that there was much rejoicing in Heaven when Lynette, Barry and our Lord welcomed him.

My sincere sympathy to your family in the passing of Mr. Ray. He was a dear man and I always enjoyed seeing him. My husband was pastor at Montmorenci Baptist for 14 years and we had many dealings with Mr. Ray and the funeral home. I will miss his sweet smile.

Mrs. Iva Mae,
I had the distinct pleasure to work with Ray for about 10 years at George Funeral Home. I learned alot about funerals and life from Ray. Ray was a fine Christian man and loved his family and friends and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed. If I can be of any help please let me know.

Mr. Hegler was the kind of dad that I wished I had been given. He was kind, a good dad, and a great grandfather and he loved his wife with his whole heart. I have been pleased that his daughter Bev, my best friend, shared her dad with me.I only wish that the last time I saw him, I had hugged and kissed him a few more times. A great man has passed and God bless his family and all that knew him. I love you Mr. Hegler and your whole family. With great love, Karen Akins Hall
