A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Corine ?Connie? Glinski will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Lubinsky on Monday, August 30, 2004 at 12:15 PM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Augusta, GA. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken, SC. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Rabiipour, Louie Broxton, Jr., Alex Glinski, Matthew Glinski, Johnny Cooper, Ricky Cooper, and Jimmy Free. Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church by 11:45 Monday. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 29, 2004 from 4 PM until 7 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC.
Mrs. Glinski, of Aiken, SC, died Friday, afternoon, August 27, 2004 at the University Hospital, Augusta, GA.
Born in Hephzibah, GA a daughter of the late Walter and Ora Bell Harden Broxton, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1996. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raymant L. ''Ray'' Glinski, Sr.; sons, Raymant L. ?Ray?, Jr. and his wife, Bobbi Glinski, Warrenville, IL, Johnathan ?John? Glinski, Atlanta, GA, Robert and his wife Holly Glinski, Stanley, NC and Frank A. and his wife Chris Glinski, Franklin, TN; daughters, Tina G. and her husband Hamid Rabiipour, Charlotte, NC, and Lisa and her husband, Troy Jeffcoat, Matthews, NC; brothers, James Broxton, Dearing, GA and Louie Broxton, Alpharetta, GA; sisters, Ann Cooper, Aiken, SC and Donna Nagy, Burnettown, SC; and grandchildren, Les, Virginia, and Karen Glinski, Nicholas and Maggie Rabiipour, Matthew and Meghan Glinski, Isabella and Alex Glinski, and Kelly and Nathan Jeffcoat, survive.
The family has asked that memorials in memory of Mrs. Glinski be made to National Public Radio or South Carolina Educational Television, 1101 George Rogers Blvd. Columbia, SC 29201.
