Mrs. Marie Anna Tankersley, 99, died Thursday, October 2, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was born in Swiss Vale, PA and had lived in Oceanside, CA before moving to Aiken in 2002. She was the widow of Eugene Roosevelt Tankersley, who died in January of 2002. She is survived by two Sons, Gene Tankersley of Los Altos, CA and Jerry Tankersley of Aiken, SC eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private with interment to take place in Mission San Luis Ray Cemetery, Oceanside, CA.
