Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Johnson will take place on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 7:30pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken with Rev. Gerald Freeman officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday at 1pm at Central Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until the time of the service. Washington, DC 20004 Mrs. Johnson, 60, of Aiken , died Friday, April 17, 2009 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A life long resident of Aiken, she was the daughter of Mr. Paul and Geneva Smith Quattlebaum. Before retiring in the late 1990's, she had been a production worker at ASCO Switch Co., Aiken. Mary was a member of Central Baptist Church, Aiken. She enjoyed music, especially country and church music. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her granddaughter, Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son; Jeri Johnson, Aiken, two brothers; Parnel Barfield, Augusta, GA and Lance Barfield, Aiken, two sisters; Vernell Morelli, Aiken and Irene Bush, Aiken and a granddaughter, Taylor Johnson, Belvidere.
