AIKEN, SC- Charlotte Klein, 52, of Aiken, SC, formerly of North Augusta, SC, and briefly of Huntingtonshire, England, passed away in her home June 5, 2015. She was born at Tyndall Air Force Base Hospital, Panama City, FL, the eldest of three, which included one brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Breck Klein, two children, Brittany K. Sauerborn (Adam) of Rochester, NY, Corey E. Klein, of Atlanta, GA, and the current luckiest dog on the planet, Mason. Additional survivors include her mother, Diana M. Ingate Brissie, North Augusta, SC; brother Aaron Smith (Teresa), Grovetown, GA; sister Jennifer Brissie, North Augusta, SC; step-sister Vicki Brissie Bishop (Tommy) of Kingstree, SC; step-brother Robbie Brissie (Tracy), Greenville, SC; and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins. Charlotte was a graduate of North Augusta High School in 1981 and received an Associate's Degree in Business Management from Aiken Technical College in 1984. Charlotte was a Co-owner of Ingate Professional Pharmacy in Aiken. She was a past Board Member of the Augusta Jaycees and was currently serving on the Human Rights Board, for Tri Development Center of Aiken. She often volunteered and supported the SPCA. Charlotte enjoyed traveling, reading, movies and relaxing times with her family and friends. However, her most endearing trait was true love and devotion to those family and friends and certainly the same was true with all of God's animals. The complete unconditional bonds she had with her own pets and all of God's other creatures, was indeed, truly remarkable. She was a true "Animal Whisperer", as the animals loved her as much as she loved them. Many an animal was given a home, that otherwise would never have flourished. She saw the need for love, compassion, companionship and nurturing, where others only saw despair and lack of hope. She truly enjoyed the traveling with her friends and family. She has now taken the Ultimate Journey to be with God and those who went before her. She will surely be helping at the Largest Animal Shelter ever created.
