Funeral services for Mrs. Margie J. Franks will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at 11 AM at the Full Gospel Redemption Center, Langley, SC, with Pastor Chris Williams and Pastor Julian Boles, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Mrs. Franks will be placed in the church at 10 on Wednesday morning. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 18, 2003 from 6-8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Southside Chapel, 3175 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC. Mrs. Franks, 60, of Aiken, SC, wife of Mr. Henry H. Franks, died suddenly Sunday, morning, February 16, 2003 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken, SC. Born in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late George E. Jordan and Brittie Hazel Cox Jordan, Conway, SC, she had lived in Aiken, SC, since 1961 where she retired in 1997 after many years of service as a Cafeteria Worker at many different schools in Aiken County. She attended the Full Gospel Redemption Center, Langley, SC. In addition to her husband of forty-three years, Henry H. Franks, and mother, Brittie Hazel Cox Jordan, son, Steve Franks, Aiken, SC; daughters, Renee Heath, Hilton Head, SC, and Jennile Arnold, Aiken, SC; brothers, Lonnie J. Jordan, Aiken, SC, Donald Jordan, Conway, SC, Bryant Jordan, FL, James Jordan, Augusta, GA, and Wayne Jordan, Conway, SC; sisters, Shirley Dew, Aiken, SC, Barbara Fulmer, Austin, AR, Ruth Hardee, Marilyn Benton, Carolyn Jordan, Brenda Jordan, and Loretta Jordan, all of Conway, SC, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews, survive. The family has requested that memorials in memory of Margie be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Drawer K., Aiken, SC 29802.
