Funeral services for Miss Annie Mae Johnson will be held on Saturday February 14, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Windsor with Rev. James Wingate & Dr. Rev. Fred Andrea officiating. Pallbearers will be: Gregg Toole, Bobby Toole, Jeff Toole, Andy Edwards, Todd Johnson & Von Snelgrove. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be directed to either First Baptist Church of Aiken 120 Chesterfield St. NE Aiken, SC 29801 or First Baptist Church of Windsor, Windsor, SC 29856. The family will receive friends on Friday February 13, 2004 from 6-8pm at George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. Annie Mae, 89, died Thursday morning, February 12, 2004 at Eden Gardens. Born in the Kitching Mills area of Aiken County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Ida Johnson Johnson. She had been a resident of Charleston, SC for 55 years before moving to Aiken in 1996. She was a graduate of Windsor High School and was retired from civil service work at the Charleston Navy Yard where she was a clerk/stenographer. She was a member and attended First Baptist Church of Aiken. She is survived by nieces Louise Richardson and Henrietta Marks and nephews Robert Toole Billie Jean and Henderson Johnson Doris and a number of great nieces and great nephews.
