Funeral Liturgy for Mrs. Alice Virginia Bockhold will be celebrated Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11:30 AM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken, SC. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Aiken, SC. The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at George Funeral Homes, Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave., SW, Aiken, SC. Mrs. Bockhold, 84, of Aiken, SC, died Monday, night, March 21, 2005 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers Born in Terre Haute, IN, a daughter of the late Arthur bailey and Lucy Littlejohn Cornell, she had been a resident of Aiken, SC since 1954 where she retired as a Secretary from Aiken Preparatory School in 1989 after seventeen years of service. She was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church and was active in the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Bockhold was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed traveling. She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, William ?Bill? Bockhold, a daughter, Pat Robinett, Greg, Seneca, SC; brother, William ?Bill? Cornwell, Omaha, NE; and grandsons, David Wayne Robinett, Kathryn Murrells Inlet, SC and William Matthew Robinett, Pendleton, SC. A sister, Norma All, preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, P.O. Box 438, Aiken, SC 29802
