Funeral services for Mrs. Louise W. Weatherford will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 11am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Avenue, SW, Aiken with Pastor Bert Baynham officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dwight S. Green, Jimmy Weathersbee, Bobby Day, Jr., Lynn Ghant, Steven Eubanks, and Steve Boyd. Visitation will be tonight from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Weatherford, 86, Aiken, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Aiken.
Mrs. Weatherford was born in Aiken County to the late Willie and Missouri Blackmon Wood. She lived in Old Ellenton and Barnwell County before moving to Aiken where she lived most of her life. She was retired from the old Aiken Hospital as a dietician, a foster grandparent with the Aiken County School District, and a member of Midland Valley Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Weatherford was predeceased by her husbands, David G. Rosier, Bennie Weatherford; daughter, Judy Ann Rosier; sister, Inez Keenan; brother, Jake Wood; grandson, Gerald M. Morris. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Boozer, Aiken; son, David Eugene Rosier, Wagener; sister, Irene Rhodes, Jackson; brother Willie Preston Wood, Jr., Greenwood; grandchildren, Gail Green, David Rosier, Richard Rosier, Stephen Rosier, and several great grandchildren.
