Funeral services for Mrs. Pansy Fulmer Temples will be held Thursday, April 15, 2004 at 3 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church, Aiken, SC, with Pastor Taylor Wells officiating. Serving, as pallbearers will be Ray Blanks, Ryan Blanks, Steve Cain, Phillip Cain, Doug Temples, and Mark Thomas. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 PM until the hour of service. At the request of Mrs. Temples there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Mrs. Temples, 88, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Grady Shaw Temples, died Monday, afternoon, April 12, 2004 at Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, Aiken, SC.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken, SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert Levi Fulmer and the late Kitteria Bodie Fulmer Woodward. She was a homemaker and member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Grandchildren, Douglas Edward Temples, Jr., Janet Temples Blanks, Gaye Temples Cain, and Phyllis Temples DeBord; and great-grandchildren, Allison and Ryan Blanks, Kathren and Phillip Cain, Lauren and Stephanie DeBord, Douglas Edward Temples, Jr., and Grant Hunt survive. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, Dancel Temples, brother, Nathan Bodie Fulmer, and sisters, Virgie Fulmer Lowe and Irene Fulmer Gardner.
