AIKEN, SC- MSgt. Charles F. Jordan, USAF (Ret.), passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at the age of 81. Mr. Jordan was born February 4, 1934 in Tiona, PA to the late Percy and Bessie Anna Mae Littlefield Jordan. He retired as Master Sargent from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He served during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Mr. Jordan had made Aiken, SC his home since 1968. He will be remembered as a fun loving person who enjoyed being around people. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers, two sisters, and a grand-daughter, Tiffany Michelle Patterson. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Jordan; two sons, Michael Wayne Jordan (Gale Seigler Jordan) and Steven Charles Jordan (Sharon Hall Jordan); a daughter, Beverly Ann Negrete (Gus Negrete), all of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren, Ashley Nelson (Jon) and Kristen Barnes (Micheal) and Cecilia Negrete; nine great-grandchildren, Brianna Lopez, Miguel Negrete, Jordan Nelson, Brandon Barnes, Karlee Orozco, Macey Nelson, Kynslee Negrete, Charles Negrete, and Easton Barnes; and a brother, Millard Jordan (Barbara Jean Jordan). The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 1 until 2:30 PM at the Historic George Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The Reverend Robert Jackson will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by the US Air Force.
