We would like to extend our sympathy for your loss. Wally was part of our family for many years and would always extend a helping hand and a hearty smile. When Bruce suffered a brain hemorrhage and we sat waiting for the nurses to let us know we could see him, around the corner came Wally, arms loaded down with drinks, water, and bedding for those of us waiting. Dear Family and friends:
I am profoundly sorry to hear the news of Wally's passing, my heart is with his Mother Betty, his three wonderful boys whom he loved dearly and was so proud of, all his family and many, many friends especially Jan Watson; my condolences during this truly difficult time. Wally has been a neighbor to my beautiful Mother for several years, looking in on her, stopping in to check if she needed anything and keeping me posted with words of encouragement. I was so proud of the man Wally had become, a hard worker, a man who knew and loved the Lord, a valued friend, neighbor who never met a stranger or missed the opportunity to lend a kind and helping hand. Rest in eternal peace Wallace and know you will be loved and will be missed my friend.

We vividly remember the day we first met Wally, December 26 1991. We had pulled a Uhaul down the drive of our new home to begin the process of moving in. During that day, Wally pulled down and got out of his pickup....introduced himself as a future neighbor and promptly assisted for several hours helping us unload that big truck. He constantly talked, told stories, and proved himself quite a character. Thus began 2 decades of friendship, camaraderie, and good times with our families. We had the pleasure along this journey to watch 3 lively little boys grow up into 3 fine young men who have been a testament to both their parents efforts and influence. Guys, know that we love you and will be here for you!

My son, Sam, and Nick were friends for a few years during high school. Sam loved going to stay with Nick's family because Wally and Jeannie made him feel so at home. Whenever I or my husband interacted with Wally he was easy going and a pleasure to spend time with. He was such a proud father. My heart goes out to Nicholas, his brothers, to Jeannie and the rest of the family. May God bless and comfort you.

I had the pleasure of working with and around Wallace for years at SCE&G as well as IBEW Local 772. Wally was a first class journeyman and a fine union officer and representative that attended many meetings late night after working hard all day for the betterment and benefit of lineman and our company . He was a good man that loved his boys . I remember dropping off some paperwork at his house years ago and he introduced his sons to me one by one and smiled as they each shook my hand . They were in baseball uniforms I think and were gentlemen . He was very proud of them . I worked with his mother many years and I send my prayers and love to you and all those near and dear to you Mrs. Betty and your family . Wally was a good friend and I wish I had spoken to him more these past few years but take comfort knowing we will gather with Jesus farther along and have eternity to catch up . God Bless you all and take comfort knowing , As we say goodbye, their are others saying welcome.

Wallace was a Great Man.
He spent Christmas of 2012 in Port St. Fla. with Ron Stretch Stanley, my sister Gail Odom Tune @ myself.
He found some kin people that he knew. He spent 2 weeks with us and rode Stretchs Harley. It was a Great surprise for him to show up.
WE will miss him unconditionally. We had long talks and Sat around on the back porch. He told me at Thanksgiving he would see us before Christmas .
We are truly so sorry for yalls loss.
I can say that he LOVED HIS MOTHER,3 BOYS, HIS SISTER,AND BROTHER.
He enjoyed fishing,riding talking,going out to eat.
He loved people and we will miss our surprise drop in's and calls after work.
