A memorial service for Mr. Donald Howard Hildebrandt will take place on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 4:00pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Memorial donations may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church 902 Hitchcock Dr. Aiken, SC 29803. George Funeral Homes Historic Downtown Chapel 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hildebrandt, 70, of Windsor, died Thursday at University Hospital, Augusta.
The son of the late Harvey and Louise Westphal Hildebrandt, he was born in Niagara Falls, NY and had lived in Aiken since 1991. He served in the United State Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Hildebrandt was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Aiken. Before retiring in 1994, he had been a machine operator at Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Beech Island where he had worked since 1979.
Mr. Hildebrandt was pre-deceased by his sister, Lois Wolf 1998 and his wife, Judie Ann Hildebrandt, 2001 He is survived his daughter, Earlene Stephen Wilson, Tampa, FL and his three grandchildren; Justin Harper Wilson, Jenna Ann Wilson, and Joshua Howard Wilson.
