I am saddened to hear of Coach Field's passing. I played ball for him at MV and he taught my son at Kennedy. He was a very kind and generous person who taught me many things about life just not sports. My family's thought and prayers are with his family. God bless.
I'll always remember Jim, his kindness, thoughtfulness, and ready laugh. He was a substitute teacher for me at Aiken High School on a number of occasions.

I just want to say how sorry I am to hear about the sudden death of Jim. I taught with him at LBC, and when I came to Aiken High, found him to be one of the best substitutes. The kids all liked him very much, and you knew that your room would be found the next day exactly the way you left it. I keep all of you in my prayers at this difficult time.
