A Funeral Mass for Pamela A. Powers will be celebrated on Monday October 30, 2006 at 10:00am at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. Visitation will be this evening from 6-8pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken. The wake service will begin at 6:30pm. Memorial donations may be directed to the Cumbee Center 135 Lancaster St. Aiken, SC 29801. Mrs. Powers, 51, of Aiken, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at Medical College of Georgia after a brief illness. A daughter of Noella Diane Choiniere and the late John Edward Salisbury, Jr. She was born in Central Falls, RI, where she lived until moving to Aiken in 1983. A self-employed Webpage designer, Pam was also an accomplished nature photographer. She volunteered at the Aiken County Commission on Alcohol and drug abuse and had been the office manager for the former Live Oaks Counseling Center in Aiken. She had moderated the "Constructive Love" support group at ARMC and was the founder of the women's support group, "Ivy League". She is survived by her husband, Robert Francis Powers, Aiken, her son; Robby Powers, Charleston, her mother, Noella Diane Choiniere Salisbury, Central Falls, RI, four brothers; John E. Salisbury, III, Cranston, RI, Mark Allen Salisbury, Central Falls, RI, Matthew Wayne Salisbury, Lincoln, RI and James Allison Salisbury, North Providence, RI, and a sister; Patricia Diane Salisbury Castle, Central Falls, RI.
