Funeral services for Ms. Opal Christine Seymour Heath will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave, SW, Aiken with Rev. Dale Money officiating. Interment will follow in Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. The family will receive friends tonight from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Rising Hope Church, PO Box 264, New Ellenton, SC, 29809 Ms. Heath, 74 of New Ellenton, SC, went to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Friday, October 15, 2010 at her residence. A native of Aiken, SC, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Seymour and Mary Elizabeth Bryant. She was a lifelong devoted fan of the Atlanta Braves. Opal was a very talented person. She crocheted, made floral arrangements, played the piano, and worked cross word puzzles. At 50 years old, Opal went back to school and earned her degree in accounting. She was a retired secretary and co-owner of Heath Pipeline Construction Company. Opal was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Jean and Helen. She is survived by her four children, Pat Larry Ledford, New Ellenton; Debra Billy Owen, Jackson; Randy Barbara Heath, Aiken; Chris Mike McManus, North Augusta; and their father, Harold Heath, three brothers, Homer Grace Seymour, Jimmy Vinson, Charles Bryant, sister, Marianne Patrick Price, grandchildren, Chad Gail Heath, Shaun Heath, Jonathan Ledford, Adam Ledford, Tabitha Ledford and Matt, Will Owen, Jessica Patrick McGee, Samantha McManus, great grandchildren, Ricki, Hailey, Christopher, Evan, Shane, Heath, Liam, and a special devoted and loving friend, Barbara Ervin.
