Mr. Dennis A. Hewitt, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Aiken, SC. Mr. Hewitt was the son of N.A. Art and Mary Hewitt. Upon graduating from Miami University of Ohio with a master's degree in inorganic chemistry, Mr. Hewitt worked for The Monsanto Company in Dayton, Ohio, and later for Beckman-Coulter in Charleston, W. VA. He is survived by his sister, Sally Berk, and his nieces, Mary Berk and Sarah Macchiarola. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, in Maryville, TN
