Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn ?Pat? Edgington will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 1pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken with Rev. David Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Burnettown. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the ministry of Andrew & Ester Swamidoss. Make checks payable to: India Evangelical Education Trust, 11 Erskine Lane Aiken, SC 29803. Mrs. Edgington, 65, of Vaucluse, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. A daughter of the late Rev. Howard B. and Kathryn Kennedy Ogletree, she was born in Washington, GA and had lived most of her life in Aiken County. She was a registered nurse and had worked at the Talmadge Memorial Hospital, now MCG during the 1960?s and 70?s. She then served as the Head Care Plan Nurse at Anne Marie Rehab and Nursing Center, North Augusta for several years before becoming the lead instructor for the CNA program at Aiken Technical College. Pat was a member of Clear Water Branch Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 43 years. She had also been a leader in the local Girl Scouts of America. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mr. Kyle Edgington, Vaucluse, and two daughters; Kathryn ?Michelle? Price and her husband Tracy, Aiken and Vivian ?Heather? Hayes and her husband, Doug, Aiken She is also survived by three grandchildren; Ashley Price, Aaron Price and Shayn Price, all of Aiken, two aunts; June Brown, Atlanta, GA and Carolyn Jones, Toccoa, GA, lifetime friends, Arlene and Arnie Wagaman, Chambersburg, PA, Bonnie Whatley, North Augusta, SC and many other friends and close family members.
