Funeral services for Ellen L. Wyatt, 77, of Aiken, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Chapel of GEORGE FUNERAL HOME. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Porterfield. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael E. Coyle, Paul Wyatt, Jr., David Padgett, Nick Walker, Larkin Wyatt and Paul Wyatt, III. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Wyatt, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 31, 2016. Born in Norton, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Paul Dryden and Ellen Dryden Jones. She was a loving child of God, wife and mother. She loved her family very much. Mrs. Wyatt attended Faith Family Church. She was a certified Diamontologist and Guild Gemologist and worked in the industry for many years. She was known to many as, "Short Pockets" and "Twinkle Toes." Her warm hugs will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by a brother Alfred G. Dryden.
Surviving are her loving husband of 60 years, Paul D. Wyatt, Sr. of Aiken; sons, Paul Wyatt, Jr. (Wanda) and Roger Wyatt (Laurie) all of Graniteville; daughters, Lynn Robinson (Danny) of Louisiana and Cynthia G. Coyle (Michael) of Trenton; a sister, Bobbie Pendergrass ((Carl) of Hillsville, Virginia and Bess Jones of Bristol, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
