Memorial services for Mrs. Dale Bogert Baldwin will take place on Friday, August 18th at 3:00pm at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, Aiken. A second Memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 28 Bull St. Savannah, GA on the following day August 19 at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following. Interment will be private.
Ms. Baldwin, 83, of Aiken, SC, died June 16th at her residence. George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken SC will be assisting the family. Memorial donations may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, 1630 Silver Bluff Rd. Aiken, SC 29803 for a garden that will be created in her memory.
Ms. Baldwin was born in Orange, NJ and had moved several times through her life. Before moving to Aiken fourteen months ago, she had lived in Hilton Head Island; Santa Fe, NM; Savannah, GA; Lexington, KY and Paris, KY. She was raised in Winnetka, IL a suburb of Chicago, where she still maintained several friendships. She was a homemaker, actively involved in community activities wherever she lived.
She is survived by a daughter, Delia B. Sadler, Winchester, KY; a son, Craig B. Baldwin, Aiken, SC; two stepsisters, Barbara F. Marshall, Northbrook, IL and Elaine Favill of California, four grandchildren, Jody Sadler, Savannah, GA, Hunter Sadler, Murfreesboro, TN, Craig B. Baldwin, Jr., Idaho, and Elizabeth B. Justice, Daytona Beach, FL. She is also survived by two cousins, Georgia D. Roux, Savannah, GA and Allison D. Sullivan, Savannah, GA.
