Funeral services for Mr. Michael Theodore Browers, Sr. will be held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 11am at Couchton Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Felix Browers, Danny Browers, Bill Browers, Michael T. Browers, Jr. Stan Granger and Todd Scott. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 7-9pm at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW Aiken and at the church on Monday from 10am until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice Care of SC, 946 Millbrook Ave. Suite A. Aiken, SC 29803. Mr. Browers, 56, of Aiken, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at his residence. A son of the late William and Nellie Togneri Browers, he was born in Lainsburg, MI and had lived in Lansing, MI before moving to Aiken in 1979. He retired earlier this year from Pepperidge Farms where he had worked as a Supervisor for twelve years. He attended Couchton Baptist Church and was regarded as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved to travel, do woodworking and gardening. He is survived by his wife of over 22 years; Marcie Brady Browers, Aiken, three sons; Chief Petty Officer Zachary Browers, US Navy, Aiken, Shelby Browers and his wife Dawn , Aiken and Corporal Michael T. Browers, Jr. US Army, Aiken, a daughter; Kinsee Browers, Aiken, four sisters; Helen Rodgers and her husband Hedgeman, Saluda, SC, Cathy Granger and her husband Stan, Greenville, TN, Gloria McDaniel and her husband Mike, Lansing, MI, and Myrtle Herrera and her husband Johnny, Mason MI, four brothers; Felix Browers and his wife Linda, Telford, TN, James Browers and his wife Carolyn, Okemos, MI, Danny Browers, Lansing, MI and Bill Browers and his wife Trish, Eaton Rapids, MI. He is also survived by two grandchildren Taylor & Brandon, several nieces and nephews, special friends; Karen & Todd Scott and girls and many devoted friends.
