Funeral services for Mrs. Ingrid W. Hartman will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 11am at George Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. SW, Aiken with Rev. Jeffrey Kirby officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 until the hour of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be directed to the National Kidney Foundation, 500 Taylor St. Suite 101, Columbia, SC 29201-3000. Mrs. Hartman, 70, of Aiken, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at her residence. A daughter of the late Josef and Erna Stenzenberger, she was born in Schweinfurt, Germany. She came to The United States in 1958 and had lived in Kingsport, TN before moving to Aiken in 1989. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Laura Lehew. Ingrid is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Hartman, Aiken; a son, Peter Hartman, Kingsport, TN; three daughters, Susan Stallings, Murfreesboro, TN, Nancy Loyd, Murfreesboro, TN and Andrea Hartman, Aiken, SC; two brothers, Dieter Stenzenberger and Peter Stenzenberger, both of Niederwerrn, Germany. She was known as "Oma" to her six grandchildren and "Uroma" to her two, great granddaughters.
